View of the house from the bottom of the driveway... Taken in the New Year from the bottom of the drive, along with the photo that is at the top of the previous page. Along the wall by the path is a length of green neon ropelight, you can also see the projector effect in the window above which is featured on its own page. In the bushes are the set of 25 lights with assorted covers, and at the front to the right of this picture is an 8-circuit 80-light twinkling set. The rest of the ones in the front were steady-on.
Notice in the upstairs middle window, the "2000" sign- I added this on New Year`s Eve and connected it to a timer that would turn it on at midnight. Up until then, there were exactly 2000 lights in my display, that sign added another 40 so, strictly speaking, the display that the early portion of 2000 saw, had 2040 lights. However, my time switch did not turn on precisely at midnignt, but a few minutes after- so my plan to have 2000 lights to see in the Year 2000 did happen after all. |
