The lighting effect in the downstairs-right window

The downstairs-right window, as with the previous year, had a disco projector effect shone on the back of the blinds- although this year it was a cheaper model that did not rotate its pattern of beams. I made up for that fact by adding a custom 3-colour filter to it. One third red, one third green and one third blue, the overall effect was a smooth rainbow of colours- very attractive! This picture was taken from one of the other shots and enhanced as there were no photos taken of it on its own.
On New Year`s Eve, which was a little foggy later on, I shone the original rotating effect light used the previous year, out of the upstairs window and into the air casting shafts of light up into the sky- it looked good but was partially drowned out by the very bright yellow ropelight and the ever present orange glow in the sky from all those badly designed sodium streetlights this town has.
