Bare branches of a tree covered in thick white stuff

I love the way deciduous trees look when their bare branches get covered in snow, it is a sight that is all too rare here in South Wales where snow is infrequent at best. This big tree used to be at the back of an adjacent garden and looked fantastic in the snow. I also remember when freezing rain covered everything in thick ice during late 1996, and this tree glistened in the morning sunshine. It was cut down in the autumn of 2000 which was a real shame, also meaning that now the summer evening sun blasts its way into this room making it far too hot!
