Blue neon-ropelight and a laser effect in the middle window... Blue neon-ropelight illuminating the front room, which also contained all the power supplies as shown in a previous picture. This room had one other thing - a red "Black Widow type" laser effect, the sort of thing that was made for use at discos/clubs that made its debut in my lights displays the previous year. It was only a low power unit with a simple set of controls. Normally I had it set to project a star shape, which in fact it was showing in this picture. However the pattern was made by rapidly scanning the laser spot around using two mirrors, and as such when a still image like this is taken, the result is just a short streak. A conventional camera set for a fairly long exposure would have better shown the effect as people would see it, however this video-still is all I have!
