The lights around the garage

These are a special set that I had made a couple years before, for a high-school project. Constructed of 10 small flat boxes with 7 red LEDs mounted through the face of each- 6 normal ones surrounded a flashing type, and they are connected all in series to the paralell supply wires. The flashing LED causes the normal ones to blink on and off together- the result from 10 of these independantly flashing lights lights is a twinkling effect. The backs of the little boxes are filled with epoxy resin to seal out moisture and make them totally solid- this is a string of lights you could probably use at the bottom of the deepest ocean! I still have these (though they havn`t been used in any more lights displays)- got an A-grade for them!
And before anyone asks- yes I did touch up this photo to make them look like some are lit- this picture is taken from a corner of one of the "main" photos I took, and the flash has drowned out the red glow from the LEDs. It looks sort of real, doesn`t it?
