Close shot showing the front porch... The little tree on the left is a living pine tree that I bought that year. There, it was just left in the pot it came in, but it has since been planted properly just to the right of the front porch. Unfortunately it is still very small and skinny and it looks like a great many years before it grows big enough for me to put lots of lights in! Those lantern lights on it are little low voltage versions of the larger mains powered ones used on the tiled roof portion above the front porch.
