The middle bit of the front of the house- notice the big bunch of wiring decending from the window on the left. Despite the fact that there were not that many actual bulbs, the light sets in the bushes and those round the front door area all needed a cable of their own to supply them- a variety of voltages and currents were needed by all those low voltage outdoor lights. This is one big drawback of European low voltage lights- the requirement of each outdoor mini set to have a transformer means that, unless you can somehow run them all from one great big one, you get rows and rows of little plug-in transformers indoors, and miles and miles of little thin cables outdoors!
