Inside the "control room" where the power came from... All the power for those lights came from the little tiny box-room in the front of the house. On the left you see the timer and RCD (Americans would call this a GFCI), this switched the sockets in the middle. On the right, the black box is a large 24v AC transformer, this powered the lights in the main windows, and round the front door. The flashing LED Star pattern in this window ran constantly since it consumed so little power. The adjustable brown transformer on the left by the timer assembly powered it.
