Closeups of the LED spotlights... Here is perhaps a better look at how they are contructed. Red, blue and green LEDs arranged so the light mixes together and produces the different colours. They would mix a little better if the middle of the lens over that cluster of red ones was frosted like the rest, but the lamp body is the same as used for the incandescent version. For an inexpensive lamp (and these did not cost much) it was probably the best option they had available.
Incidentally, that wierd ghosting effect is just a reflection, these pictures were taken through the window from inside. |
