 The lights are now on! A slightly scaled-back affair compared to last year, but with a twist. Every single one of the lights contributing to 2005`s light show is an LED. No filament lamps anywhere among the display. A total of over 6500, all LEDs and all in blue and white. More details and a pile of photos to come in the future, but for now here are some preliminary shots taken just after switch-on...       - Top Roofline - 65 blue and white LED C7 bulbs, 720 blue LED Icicle lights and a 9-LED white LED beacon at the peak of the roof. - Corners of walls and chimney - 420 blue ForeverBright Berry/mini globe LED lights. - Upstairs window, left - 70 white ForeverBright Berry LED lights, underneath, first section of one modified blue 360-LED Icicle set. - ...middle - round window - 35 white ForeverBright old C6 LED lights, in tree - 140 blue ForeverBright old C6 LED lights, mounted accross upper portion of window - new 3-colour Big Giant LED Matrix sign (not counted with the grand total). - ...right - 70 white ForeverBright Berry LED lights, underneath, last section of modified blue LED Icicle set. - Above front door - 2x 144-LED small blue/white Ropelight Snowflakes, 1x 216-LED large white Ropelight Starflake. Along guttering - middle section of blue LED Icicle set, 10 blue LED C7 bulbs, around pillar - 288-light white LED ropelight. - Front Door - 25 blue Foreverbright LED C7 bulbs, in ring- 30 blue LEDs, in windows either side- blue and white LED Snowflake figures consisting of 2 large (120 LEDs total), 4 medium (168 LEDs total), 6 small (180 LEDs total) and 2 very small (24 LEDs total), 2 blue "LED Nametag" mini scrolling message displays (294 LEDs total). - Live tree to the right of the front door - 192 blue Snowflake LED lights, these remain on all the time. - Downstairs window, left - 70 white ForeverBright Berry LED lights, 7 blue LED Snowflake figures. - ...right - 70 white ForeverBright Berry LED lights, 7 blue LED Snowflake figures. - Bushes in front of downstairs-right window - 140 ForeverBright Ice white and 105 ForeverBright Ice LED lights. - Staked alongside the path to the front door - 4x blue and white 34-LED mini trees. - Bushes at front, left, driveway and steps up to the front door - 140 blue Berry, 280 blue Ice, 280 white Ice and 280 blue mini globe ForeverBright LED lights, 6x blue and white 34-LED mini trees, 2x blue LED spiral ropelight trees (1x 287 lights, 1x 288 lights). - Garage - 360 white LED Icicle lights, 25 blue and white LED C7 bulbs, blue LED animated-head deer (probably 98 LEDs). Around window and in small bush - 70 ForeverBright Ice white. ### Total: 6571 all-LED lights (plus the Big Giant Matrix sign with 2048 bi-colour LEDs) ### |
