 Originally I hadn`t planned to change things too much for 2004 and indeed anticipated the display to be slightly smaller due to having less and less free time these days. However a few last minute internet finds saw the light count beat that of the previous season for the fourth year in a row, exceeding 12000. Many of the aspects stayed the same such as the overall blue/white/green colours with green "garland lights" edging the roof, white and blue LEDs edging the walls and turquoise/blue mini-lights in the bushes. The old blue "swag-style" garland lights had been retired as they were getting a bit tatty so in their place were some new LED Icicle lights. White over the front door and down the pillar, deep blue around the garage. There were lots more ropelight snowflakes added, the ones used last year filled the space between upstairs and downstairs windows and some new dual colour "Starflakes" adorn the upstairs windows and the roof over the front door. A new pattern was written and programmed for the Light Trees and the front bushes took on a more colour co-ordinated effect with solid blocks of blue and teal minis (adapted from the mixed colour sets used last year), and deep blue ForeverBright LEDs too. 
 - Top Roofline - 70 blue and white LED C7 bulbs, 1500 green Garland Lights and a clear Xenon beacon at the peak of the roof. - Corners of walls and chimney - 420 blue ForeverBright LED lights. - Upstairs window, left - 70 white ForeverBright LED lights, 398-lamp ropelight Starflake. - ...middle - round window - 35 white ForeverBright LED lights, in tree - 70 blue ForeverBright LED lights, mounted to celing - LED message sign. - ...right - 70 white ForeverBright LED lights, 398-lamp ropelight Starflake. - Above front door - 4x 108-lamp small Ropelight Snowflakes, 2x 324 lamp large Ropelight Starflakes. Along guttering and around pillar - 360-light white LED Icicle lights, 10 blue LED C7 bulbs. - Walls between upstairs and downstairs windows - 2x 144-lamp ropelight Starflakes, 4x 144-lamp ropelight Snowflakes. - Front Door - 15 R/G/B Colour-Changing LED C7 bulbs, in ring- 30 green low voltage minis. In windows either side- animated LED matrix figures of 3 large trees (134 LEDs each), two bells (83 LEDs) and three Sleighs (126 LEDs each). - Small tree to the right of the front door - 200 ice-blue low voltage snowflake minis, these remain on all the time. - Downstairs window, left - 70 white ForeverBright LED lights, 100-bulb blue Snowflake Garland silhouette. - ...right - 70 white ForeverBright LED lights, 100-bulb blue Snowflake Garland silhouette. - Bush in front of downstairs-right window - 150 blue and 50 teal minis. - Staked alongside the path to the front door - 4x 35-light mini trees. - Bushes at front, left, driveway and steps up to the front door - 450 teal and 350 blue minis, 280 blue ForeverBright LED lights, 6x turquoise 35-light mini trees, 2x 216-lamp green ropelight spiral trees, 2x blue LED spiral ropelight trees (1x 287 lights, 1x 288 lights). - Along the wall beside the steps up to the front door - 300 green swag-style lights. - Garage - On roof, 4 light-trees in green/ice-blue (largest 1000 minis, large 600 lights, medium 300 lights and small 200 lights each topped with green xenon strobe beacons), round front/side- 360 blue LED Icicle lights, 25 white LED C7 bulbs. - Bush by Garage - 100 turquoise minis. ## Total - 12398 plus the LED matrix sign ## |
