These are MPEG-1 video files in 320x240 format showing the computerized Light Trees, the Velleman LED displays and colour changing C7 bulbs round the front door, a sweep of the front of the house and the LED matrix sign message too. To keep the file size dial-up friendly, and because I don`t have a huge amount of resources avaliable to me for this site, I have compressed them quite highly. Please see the photo galleries for more detailed pictures of the setup.

- Front Door. 1:10, 881Kb.

- The Trees. 1:48, 1351Kb.
This was the same as Tree Pattern 1 last year, but ran for the entire season. The only way to reprogram the trees is with a laptop computer I have at work, and which I forgot to bring home for the holidays! I had wanted to create a new pattern for the second half of the season but couldn`t.

- Sweep round the front of the house. 0:52. 673Kb
Panning shot from the trees, around the front bushes, up to the peak of the roof, then on to the fading Snowflakes in the middle, and finishing in a wide shot of most of it. There isn`t a lot of animation, but still enough to make it interesting for people walking and driving by.

- LED Matrix sign. 0:55, 699Kb.
The LED matrix sign has been a feature of the display since 1999. In the run-up to the season it gives a brief message saying when the lights will be turned on, and how many there should be. For the duration of the season it runs this message which has changed little over the past few years
