Painted bulbs drying in the warmth... Just a few of the bulbs I hand-painted for the 2003 season. I did say I wouldn`t paint any more, following the 2001 season where I painted thousands, but no-one makes bulbs in pale icy blue so I had no other option. The paint I bought was different to that used previously - the colour was darker and it took a very long time to dry, hence why they are in there with the towels above the hot water tank to speed up the drying process.
